This saree is one of my Triveni favourites! I love the eclectic colors and patterns, and the lovely ethnic-design blouse. The fabric is very comfortable, I really like chiffon for its lightness and simplicity. I took inspiration in the mermaid style drape.

I once went to Coorg and loved the saree drapes I saw, this was the inspiration behind the drape, I wanted to highlight the beautiful thick border of the saree. The pleats are  tucked at the backside of my waist and the pallu of the sari is also draped from rear to front, tucked neatly over the shoulder and secured with a beautiful pin.

Elegance and tradition weaved into a beautiful deep green silk saree with golden glowing lotus flowers. The design and colors are as traditional as you can get, the challenge was to create a new drape that would highlight the elegance of the saree in a contemporary style. I decided to go for a gown-like drape with pleats on the bottom right side. Then I brought the pallu front to create a a blouse-like drape to showcase its beautiful golden design.

This casual drape is essentially the result of a creative process coupled with luck. The bottom was pleated as usual and the top was inspired by a halter neck style. The pallu was kept front to highlight the lovely Kerala gold design.

This saree drape was inspired by the actress Mumtaz, it is essentially a tight and figure hugging drape which gives an elongated style to your figure. This was my first try :)
