Aparna Nayak is a dual Master’s degree holder in science, one from India and the another from the USA. But, for her interests, creativeness and passion she started her blog for food: www.hindustanisakhisaheli.com and for photography: www.eyeswantstosee.blogspot.com. She recognizes her creative genes with her mother who had been running fashion boutique for last 15 years but now she took some rest and started her blog: https://www.facebook.com/AnjuSakhiSewing/. Aparna got inspiration from her and always wanted to try new outfits and styles stitched in her boutique. “Dare2drape would be a great opportunity to re-visit those styling and fashion memories with one of my favorite style-saree but in a modern way.” – says Aparna.

In this drape style, the saree is styled over pants instead of the petticoat. The pleats are formed in the usual pattern and the saree is draped encircling the body in first round only. The half and half saree style looks good in this pattern. Aparna completes her look with a statement bead neckpiece.
